How to Set Up Gardlume™
1. Install the Batteries
Install the required batteries according to the product instructions and close the battery compartment securely.
2. Connect the Timer
Turn off the faucet, attach the timer to a compatible outdoor water outlet and connect your watering system below it.
3. Set the Clock
Program the current time so scheduled watering begins at the intended hour.
4. Set Start, Duration & Frequency
Choose when watering starts, how long the cycle runs and how often the schedule repeats.
5. Run a Test Cycle
Confirm water starts correctly, check the system for leaks and make sure automatic shutoff works as expected.
USE & CARE
Schedule the Water. Still Watch the Garden.
Adjust watering according to actual soil moisture, rainfall, temperature and plant needs. A timer controls when water flows, but your garden still determines how much watering is appropriate.
Check threaded connections and washers regularly for leaks, replace batteries when required, and protect or remove the timer before freezing conditions when the product instructions require it.
